PM Péter Magyar says country nearly forced into decision as extreme heat and low water levels in Danube pose challenges in region

Meanwhile, a 4.3 magnitude earthquake was reported in the Italian city of Pisa, which was also felt in Livorno, Lucca and Massa Carrara in northern Tuscany, Italian media reported.

The National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology reported the earthquake had its epicentre 7km west of Pisa.
