American military forces are in place and waiting on a command from President Trump to launch a major new military operation against Iran, CNN has reported, citing a pair of US officials with knowledge of the plans.
The scale of those attacks, the outlet reported, would likely go beyond the strikes the US has traded with Iran in recent months.
